Love is Love in Australia

Today, Australian Parliament has voted to make same-sex marriage legal. According to the New York Times, there have been twenty two attempts in Australia to declare same-sex marriage legal since 2004, and this represents a huge victory for LGBT+ Australians. Apparently, there were only four votes against the legislation.
The vote was followed by an emotional and joyful rendition of the song "I Am Australian" by people in the public gallery.
